My name is Anthony and I was born in Newbury, and West Berks has been my home all my life. I am currently the Police and Crime Commissioner for Thames Valley and a member of West Berks Council, and was a member of the Thames Valley Police Authority for several years.
At University I studied international terrorism and global security, and I am proud to have then built a career in both the military and in industry.
Aged just 17 I enlisted in the Army and saw active service in Borneo and Northern Ireland.
After leaving the Army I was Marketing and then, for six years, a Managing Director of the aircraft company Pilatus Britten Norman, which had aircraft in over 100 countries.
My time in the Army and in industry has confirmed my interest in keeping people safe and serving others. On 5th May I hope to continue to be the Police and Crime Commissioner for Thames Valley and if given the opportunity to do so once again I will dedicate myself to the task for another four years.
